CC Poland celebrates 6th birthday (with a competition!)
On 21st of June, 2011 Creative Commons Polska celebrated its 6th birthday. Over 100 collaborators and friends of our project took part at an event organized in the office of Centrum Cyfrowego Projekt: Polska. We begun with a CC Salon, during which we presented six organizations and projects. Each of them uses CC licensing in their work.
Our birthday competition
For all those that could not come to our birthday and have a chance to win one of our new T-shirts, we have good news. We’re announcing a second, online part of our competition – during which you can win T-shirts with the „Wkręć Się i Zacznij Tworzyć” logo (a remix of the Get Excited and Make Things graphic by Matt Jones, a CC NC-BY-SA licensed design).
In order to win a T-shirt please send us a link to a piece of work (a piece of music or a whole album, a photograph or even better a whole set, an article, a book, a blog, your webpage, etc.) that you recently made available under one of the Creative Commons licenses. In order to be eligible, you need to release the work between our birthday on the 21st of June 2011 and the ending date of 10th July. 10 T-shirts will be handed out to randomly selected authors of freely released works (5 from Poland, 5 international). Please send the links to kamil@creativecommons.pl, together with preferred T-shirt size, by midnight (CET) on 10th of July.
(If you’d like to release a work under a CC license, but don’t know how – visit the Creative Commons website!)
